Youth Protection Training Now Required at Time of Registration

Per new guidelines required by the Boy Scouts of America, effective immediately upon turning in Adult Applications it will be required to present a Youth Protection certificate of completion.  Please be aware of this change, and understand that adults will not be registered until their training is complete.  Both the application and youth protection training certificate are to be submitted to the Anthony Wayne Area Council office.

To complete Youth Protection Training, go to my.scouting.org and find links to complete training there.  This link (http://www.scouting.org/Training/YouthProtection.aspx) will take you to an informational page on the Youth Protection Training.  To register a new account or login to a preexisting account, click the link on the webpage “Click Here to Login and Take Youth Protection”.  After clicking on this link, you can create an account or login. *

Also, the Anthony Wayne Area Council office has copies of the Youth Protection Training video on DVD available to borrow for personal or group training.   If you’d like a copy of the DVD to borrow, please call the office or stop by to pick up a copy.

Thank you for your understanding of the new guidelines.  If you have questions, please call 260-432-9593.
