Ready to spend some quality time at camp?  The Anthony Wayne Scout Reservation is available for your group – a Scout group or a different group – to invest some time in activities in the outdoors.

Camp Reservation Registration

Campsites

The Anthony Wayne Scout Reservation has 14 tent-only camping sites available for unit use.  Twelve of these sites are located in Camp Chief Little Turtle; Orion and The Oaks campsites are located in Camp Wilderness, an undeveloped area of the reservation.  Each campsite has a pit latrine, washstand, and picnic tables.  Water is available at each site from May 1 to September 30.  Water is available at Long Lake Lodge year-round.  Fire ring and firewood provided.  Due to invasive species, please do not bring wood into camp.

DeVoe

In Camp Foellinger.  Picnic Tables, wash stand, and latrine nearby.  Electricity.  Running water available May 1 through September 30.  Water available Year-round at Long Lake Lodge and the Pump House.  Fire ring and firewood provided.  Due to invasive species, please do not bring wood into camp.

Covered Wagons

In Camp Foellinger.  8 wagons, sleeps 4 per wagon.  Capacity 32.  Space available for tent camping.  Covers removed for winter.  No water at site.  Wash stand and latrine located at DeVoe Shelter, along with running water May 1-September 30.  Site includes picnic tables, fire ring, and firewood.  Water available Year-round at Long Lake Lodge and the Pump House.  Fire ring and firewood provided.  Due to invasive species, please do not bring wood into camp.

Fort Cooper

In Camp Foellinger.  Fort Cooper has three blockhouses, sleep 8 each.  Space inside for tents.  No water, heat, or latrine.  Nearest latrine is located near Native American Teepees.  Fire ring and firewood provided.  Due to invasive species, please do not bring firewood to camp.

Native American Teepees

Located in Camp Foellinger.  Great for a day program and excellent backdrop for an overnight activity.  Tent camping available around teepees.  Sleep 5-6 in teepees.  Pit latrine without running water nearby.  Wash stand and latrine located near DeVoe Shelter.  Fire ring and firewood provided.  Due to invasive species, please do not bring firewood to camp.

Lutheran Foundation Chapel and Pavillion at Anthony Wayne Scout Reservation

The Lutheran Foundation Chapel and Pavilion sits on Pit Lake.  Outside camping permitted.  Can be used for training sessions, church services, weddings, etc.  Seating for 75 on pews.  Electricity but no running water or latrine.  Fire ring and firewood provided .  Due to invasive species, please do not bring firewood to camp.

Heated Lodges

Thoms Ecology Lodge

Located in Camp Chief Little Turtle.  Capacity 24.  12 bunks.  Includes co-ed limited to 4.  Co-ed area partitioned by a curtain.  Wooded.  Wash stand and latrine nearby.

$150 per weekend for Scout groups.

$250 per weekend for Non-Scout groups.

Grandstaff Lodge and Limberlost Pavillion

Located in Camp Chief Little Turtle near parade field, east of dining hall.  Capacity 32.  17 bunks.  Co-ed limited to 6.  Wash stand and latrine nearby.

$150 per weekend for Scout groups.

$250 per weekend for non-Scout groups.

Auburn Lodge

Located near Wilderness Camp.  Capacity 28, 16 bunks.  Co-ed limited to 6.  Wash stand and latrine nearby.

Family Cabins

The Anthony Wayne Scout Reservation has four full-furnished cabins for your family’s next weekend getaway!  Family cabins are available from the second weekend in August through the last weekend in May.  Family cabins are not available during summer camp.  Each cabin sleeps four people.  Two bedrooms, one with two twin beds and the second has a double bed.  One full bath. Each cabin has a full kitchen that is equipped with plates, glasses, cookware, and appliances.  Furnished living room, porch, driveway parking, and dumpsters nearby for trash.  Cleaning materials are supplied for clean up.  All cabins are air conditioned/heated.  Renters need to bring:  linens, blankets, and food.  A $60 building deposit is due a reservation.

Other Facilities

Foellinger-Sites Training Center

Foellinger-Sites Training Center (the A-frame) is a two-level A-frame.  The upper level has a complete kitchen, living room, two berooms with two single beds, and a restroom with shower.  The lower level has a large meeting room, two rooms sleep 14, and men’s and women’s restrooms.  Fire ring and firewood provided.  due to invasive species, please do not bring firewood into camp.

$200 per weekend for Scout groups.

$250 per weekend for non-Scout groups.

Cole Training Lodge

The Cole Training Lodge is an excellent location suitable for small conferences.  The center has a large meeting area, full kitchen, and six men and women’s showers, two of which are handicap accessible.  These showers are also available for weekend use at an additional charge.  No overnight accommodations.

$200 per weekend for Scout groups.

$250 per weekend for non-Scout groups.

Dining Hall and Kitchen

The Larson Lodge Dining Hall at Camp Chief Little Turtle is a fantastic facility for your next large meeting, family reunion, or reception.  The dining room has a capacity of 291.  Men’s and women’s restrooms.  Air conditioned and heated.  Water available year round.  No alcoholic beverages are allowed.  The kitchen area is also available for rent (must have Council approved kitchen supervisor).  Much more information is available in the Dining Hall Manual, in the forms archive.

Canoe Rental

The Anthony Wayne Area Council makes available canoes, paddles, life jackets and canoe trailer (1) to all qualified Scout troops and Explorer posts.  Canoes and equipment are available to other groups upon application and verification of insurance coverage and adult leader qualifications. The rental fee is $15.00 per canoe, per day which includes paddles and life jackets. There will also be a $50.00 rental fee for use of the trailer. A $100.00 deposit is required for each unit of 6 canoes.  Submit completed application with fees to: Anthony Wayne Area Council, AT LEAST TWO WEEKS prior to trip. Scout or Explorer units must have submitted a National Tour Permit application if the trip distance is out of council area.
